vagal nerve and the safe and sound protocol

The "Safe and Sound" protocol consists of listening to music specifically treated to help balance the autonomic nervous system with the help of the Safe and Sound facilitator.

People spend thousands if not tens of thousands on interventions and therapies that don't adress their nervous system, therefore shooting in the dark without a proper foundation to heal.
Every healing starts with a regulated nervous system, which is the main focus of the protocol.
Once this is established, healing and other modalities can be built on top.

My practice relies on somatic practices before and after the listening protocol to help stabilize the nervous system and provide tools for self-regulation.

What can be caused by dysregulation of the vagus nerve?

  • Social and emotional difficulties

  • Auditory and sensory sensitivities

  • Difficulties processing auditory stimuli

  • Anxiety and trauma-related difficulties

  • Inattention

  • Psychological reactivity

  • Stress factors affecting social relationships

  • Difficulties regulating psychological and emotional states

  • Fatigue and chronic pain

  • Depression

  • Sleep problems

  • Digestive problems

  • Difficulty adapting to change
